Overexcitabilities in Gifted Students

Nature-based Mindfulness – An Introduction

Overexcitabilities in Gifted Students

Students who are identified as “gifted” are disproportionately white and male. Gifted

children present their abilities in very different ways, spanning age, gender, and culture yet our identification processes are remarkably close-minded and specific.

This course will explore reasons why children of color are often overlooked and ways school districts can

begin to remedy the problem.
